In Wonder Classic you can craft your own weapons, armor and items — many of which you can't buy in shops. It all revolves around the Mixers (the crafting "benches"). This guide walks you through it from scratch: how to unlock it, what each mixer does, and how to make your first piece.
Step 1 — Unlock crafting (level 30)
When you reach level 30, talk to T.R.Z. in Francis and do the "Principles of Item Crafting" quest. At the end he gives you 1 Mixer of your choice — and here's the catch: you only pick ONE. Choose wisely (see what each does below).
The 4 Mixers
Weapon Mixer
Makes weapons (swords, axes, daggers, bows, staves…).
Armor Mixer
Makes armor (shirt, pants, hat, shield…).
Supple. Item Mixer
Makes arrows, ninja stars, spirit bombs and accessories.
Alchemy Mixer best to start
Turns raw materials into the intermediate parts (Iron Ingot, Broken Blade, Torn Shirt…) that weapon/armor recipes need.
Why Alchemy is the key: the "Broken Blade" and "Torn (shirt/pants/hat)" parts don't drop and aren't sold — they only come from the Alchemy Mixer. Since everyone picks a single mixer, players usually trade parts with friends (one does alchemy, the other assembles the weapon). T.R.Z. himself warns: materials are pricey on the market, so making your own pays off.
How crafting works
Only inside a town. The mixer won't open in the field.
You need 3 things: the right mixer + the recipe + the materials (and a little Zed).
Success rate: basic recipes are 100%. Advanced ones can fail — and then you lose the materials.
Mastery: every item made raises your mastery (up to 300,000), improving the bonus stats on pieces. The Master Artisan Soul doubles the gain.
Recipes: basic ones (Novice/Steel) come with the mixer. The better ones are learned from teachers for Zed — T.R.Z. (Francis) and Roco (Hellen) are the main ones.
Your 1st WEAPON — step by step
Novice Sword (lv10 · 100% success · Weapon Mixer)
Recipe: 1 Iron + 1 Broken Blade
- 1
Get Iron: by mining (buy a Pickaxe from Dozer for 100 Zed, go to the mine and hold B) or from the "Fran Ore" ore nodes near Francis.
- 2
Get Broken Blade: make it in the Alchemy Mixer with 5 Iron + 5 Copper (you get 10 at once). No Alchemy Mixer? Ask/trade with a friend who has one.
- 3
In a town, open the Weapon Mixer, pick Novice Sword and confirm. Done! 🎉
Early variants (same idea): Novice Axe (1 Iron + 1 Broken Blade) · Steel Dagger (3 Iron + 4 Old Dagger + 1 Artisan Soul) · Red Long Bow (3 Lumber + 4 Old Bow + 1 Artisan Soul) · Eagle Staff (3 Lumber + 4 Broken Staff + 1 Artisan Soul).
Your 1st ARMOR — step by step
Basic kit (lv8–10 · 100% · Armor Mixer)
One piece per slot: Shirt, Pants and Hat — plus a Shield for the Swordsman.
The body material depends on your class:
Swordsman / Thief → use Rawhide (leather)
Scout / Mage → use Silk Fabric (cloth)
Example (Swordsman Shirt, lv10): 1 Rawhide + 1 Torn Shirt → shirt.
- 1
Gather the leather/cloth (Rawhide or Silk Fabric) by hunting early monsters (table below).
- 2
Make the "Torn" parts in the Alchemy Mixer: Torn Shirt / Torn Pants = 5 Rawhide + 5 Thread · Torn Hat = 5 Silk Fabric + 5 Thread (10 come out at a time).
- 3
In the Armor Mixer, inside town, assemble Shirt, Pants and Hat for your class.
Swordsman: also make the Swordsman's Shield = 2 Iron + 2 Lumber.
Where to gather materials
| Material |

| Rawhide (leather) | Early monsters: Debiel, Darkel, King Frog, Dugong… |
| Silk Fabric (cloth) | Early monsters: Carrot Rabbit, Chups, Debiel, Mad Woman… |
| Thread | Blue Housel, Hammer Rabbit, Pink Wing, Mad Woman… |
| Pickaxe | Buy from Dozer (100 Zed). |

Golden tips
- Want to be self-sufficient? Pick the Alchemy Mixer — it makes the parts for every weapon and armor recipe.
- Basic recipes are 100% (no risk). On advanced ones, bring a Master Artisan Soul to double mastery and roll better stats.
- Always craft in town and check that the right mixer is equipped.
- Team up with friends: one becomes the "alchemist" (makes parts), the other the "smith/tailor" (assembles). Much faster.
